Reinforcement cross E36 – more stiffness, less weight

Our reinforcement cross brace/convertible cross brace for all BMW E36 models is the perfect combination of precise function and clever weight savings. Compared to the standard convertible cross brace, our reinforcement cross brace is approximately 1 kg lighter without compromising stability and load-bearing capacity, thus supporting even more direct handling.

Unlike the original reinforcement cross, which only attaches to a few points on the underbody, our convertible cross is mounted directly to the steering gear's mounting points. This targeted attachment results in significantly improved performance.

Additionally, the reinforcement cross serves as a stable base for our front splitter with its smooth underbody, which further improves vehicle balance and increases aerodynamic efficiency.
