Trunk floor E36 – for weight optimization & a clean look

Anyone who consistently converts their BMW E36 to lightweight construction, performance or a clean interior will sooner or later come to one point: the spare wheel well.
Our trunk floor panel was specially developed for the BMW E36 coupe and sedan to professionally and precisely close the trunk floor after removing the spare wheel well.

This measure not only saves about 10 kg on the rear axle, but also offers the possibility of customizing the trunk – ideal for track days and sporty conversions. It allows for the installation of a helmet box and creates space for our rear diffuser.

Made from 1 mm sheet steel, the cover ensures high stability. The integrated ribs not only provide structural reinforcement but also reduce unwanted droning noises that can often occur with lightweight sheet metal covers.
